Eddie Pinigis, a 6-8, 285-pound offensive tackle from Jefferson Forest H.S. in Lynchburg, VA has committed to play football for the University of Virginia.

Pinigis is considered one of the top offensive linemen in the state, and chose the Cavaliers over favorites Florida, Maryland, Tennessee, North Carolina, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech. He had early offers from Virginia, Maryland and Wake.

Pinigis is agile for his size, and runs a quick 5.1 in the forty. As a junior, he was named first team all-district, all-region and all-area.
