This Week In Recruiting With Chris Horne

As expected, the University of Virginia men’s basketball program received signed letters of intent last week from all four class of 2016 recruits.

Lawrence Central (Indianapolis, IN) combo guard Kyle Guy, Voyager Academy (Durham, N.C.) forward/center Jay Huff, Friends’ Central (Wynnewood, PA) small forward DeAndre Hunter, and Iona Prep (New Rochelle, N.Y.) point guard Ty Jerome are officially Virginia Cavaliers. They make up a class that is ranked in the top 10 nationally by national recruiting outlets ESPN, Rivals, Scout, and 247Sports. This is easily the most highly regarded class head coach Tony Bennett has recruited in his time at UVA.

For a closer look at Virginia’s class - including Signing Period photos, videos, quotes and more - be sure to check out my "UVA Men’s Basketball Inks Top 10 Class" feature linked below. In the weeks and months to come, I'll track how the newest Hoo recruits are performing in their senior seasons.

Football recruiting-wise, I’ll have a report on how Virginia’s class of 2016 recruits are performing in postseason action. This weekend, stay tuned for a rundown of those recruits in attendance for the Duke/Virginia game in Scott Stadium.

As always, if there is any breaking news on the football recruiting front, we’ll let you know.
