This Week In Recruiting With Chris Horne

University of Virginia men’s basketball recruits Kyle Guy and Ty Jerome participated in the 2015 Mary Kline Classic this past weekend. The duo impressed Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports Network:

“Virginia's two 2016 commits --- Ty Jerome and Kyle Guy --- both shined tonight. Tailor made for Charlottesville. Poised, steady, effective,” Rothstein tweeted this past Saturday.

Guy and Jerome took some time to discuss this past weekend’s experience and their play on the AAU circuit this spring. Stay tuned for that report soon. The talented combo guards will reunite in a few weeks in Charlottesville, as both prospects have been selected to play in the 2015 NBPA Top 100 Camp as well.

Virginia football will host its first one-day camp of 2015 this coming Sunday. TheSabre.com will be there for coverage, so stay tuned for any news that comes from the event.

Also on the football recruiting front, stay tuned for a report on Virginia’s newest class of 2016 commitment, offensive tackle Ben Knutson. I’ll also have more on tight end pledge Andrew Trainer, who is featured in an EDGE report last Friday (linked below).

Chris Horne, our resident recruiting expert, provides updates throughout the week for EDGE subscribers about UVa's commitments and recruiting targets in football and men's basketball.
