This Week In Recruiting With Chris Horne

UVa football has nine verbal commitments in the class of 2015. This week I’ll have a new “Strategy Session” article, which is a comprehensive look at where the Hoos stand in class of 2015 recruiting. What are the remaining needs? Who are the top targets? What are the key dates to remember? Find out in this week’s “Strategy Session.”

Also this week ...

Oregon class of 2016 point guard Payton Pritchard discusses the offer he received from Virginia as well as his initial impressions of head coach Tony Bennett in an update.

College decisions are popping and at least one more Virginia target is set to announce this week. McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD) rising senior linebacker Wyatt Cook reportedly will announce his college choice Tuesday. The three finalists are Maryland, Purdue, and Virginia.

Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA) rising senior James Trucilla is one of UVa football’s most recent commitments. This week I’ll have much more from the 6’1”, 265-pound prospect, who is Virginia’s only defensive tackle commitment in the class so far.

I also hope to catch up with Centreville (Clifton, VA) rising senior offensive tackle Justin Skule and Ohio linebacker CJ Stalker this week for the latest. Both players have high interest in UVa. We’ll see where they stand as far as their recruitments are concerned.

Chris Horne, our resident recruiting expert, provides updates throughout the week for EDGE subscribers about UVa's commitments and recruiting targets in football and men's basketball.
