This Week In Recruiting With Chris Horne

Highland Springs (VA) class of 2015 wide receiver Felton Davis III made his first ever visit to the University of Virginia this past Saturday. The 6’3”, 180-pound junior received good news while on the trip, receiving a scholarship offer from coach Mike London.

“It was good to hear the offer coming straight from Coach London,” Davis said in my interview with him this past Sunday.

Check out the full EDGE update up on Davis, who also boasts offers from Old Dominion and Virginia Tech and is receiving interest from other major FBS schools including Georgia, North Carolina, Wake Forest, and more.

Virginia football will host a Junior Day recruiting event this Saturday, and later this week I’ll preview the day in my latest “Sabre Scoop” feature. In addition to class of 2015 recruits, some recruits from Virginia’s class of 2014 are also expected on Grounds that day, which will be UVa’s first big recruiting event for the class of 2015.

I’ll preview Virginia’s big day in “Sabre Scoop” and follow up with updates throughout the weekend, including any breaking news that may come.

Virginia basketball will host some visitors as well on March 1, which of course is the day Tony Bennett and company host Syracuse. I’ll preview those visitors expected to attend and provide updates as well following the game.

Chris Horne, our resident recruiting expert, provides updates throughout the week for EDGE subscribers about UVa's commitments and recruiting targets in football and men's basketball. To sign up for an EDGE subscription, please check out the Sabre EDGE Sign Up and Information Page. If you're already on board as an EDGE subscriber, click the links below to catch up on recruiting.
