Must-Read Article on Joe Harris
ESPN.com released an article on Virginia senior Joe Harris and UVa fans should put it on their must-read list. Here is the link.
A couple of great quotes from the article:
"He's such a humble, unassuming guy that if you said, 'Joe, this game, I want to get others involved, I only want you to take a few shots,' he'd probably take zero shots. He doesn't care if
he scores, he's just trying to win." - UVa coach Tony Bennett
"He's become a really good perimeter defender ... being able to put the ball on the floor now and his passing ability - it's all taken another step." - UVa senior Akil Mitchell
The Cavaliers are off to a 2-1 start this season. They host Navy (Tuesday, 7 p.m.) and Liberty (Saturday, 4 p.m.) this week at the John Paul Jones Arena.

This Week In Recruiting With Chris Horne
As expected, the University of Virginia men's basketball program received signed letters of intent in the Early Signing Period from center Jack Salt, guard/forward B.J. Stith,
and combo forward Isaiah Wilkins. This week in recruiting I plan to have several reports up on the basketball front, including ...
- Catching up with Wilkins for his thoughts on officially becoming a Cavalier, a look at his senior season, and more.
- A "Strategy Session" on Virginia basketball recruiting, including the needs Coach Bennett may address in the class of 2015 and what recruits have already been offered.
- Upcoming reports on Salt and Stith are in the works as well, so stay tuned for those reports and more in the coming weeks.
On the football recruiting front, I'll have the latest on the class of 2014 recruiting front this week. Virginia lost one place-kicker in this class when Memphis (TN) standout Gary
Wunderlich de-committed in favor of Mississippi. The Cavaliers are at least keeping tabs on Blacksburg (VA) senior PK Carson Wise, who made 11 of 13 field goals this season
including kicks of 55 and 51 yards. I'll have an update on Carson this week.
I've also posted an update this week on postgraduate prospect Jay Payton, a linebacker out of Atlanta Sports Academy (Atlanta, GA). The 6'2", 235-pound prospect is a heavy Virginia
Tech lean, but he claims a Virginia offer and wants to play in the Commonwealth. If Tech does not offer, Virginia could be the beneficiary.
Also stay tuned for the latest "Week In Review," a look at how UVa's recruits performed on the gridiron in the previous week's games. It's playoff time, so be sure to check out which
future Cavaliers continued to march on in postseason play.
