Fork Union OL Commits to Hoos

University of Virginia head coach Al Groh decided to extend an official scholarship offer yesterday to Fork Union Military Academy offensive lineman Austin Pasztor, who didn't take long to accept. UVa now has its 15th verbal commitment - the fourth projected to play on the offensive line - for the 2008 recruiting class.

Pasztor, who is only 16 years old, is out of Tillsonburg, Ontario, Canada. He chose Virginia over an offer from Temple and interest from some other schools following a solid performance at Fork Union's recent workout. A standout defensive lineman for the London Falcons in the Ontario Varsity League, Pasztor earned defensive line player of the year honors in helping the Falcons to a OVL junior championship this past summer.
