The University of Virginia football staff has brought in the New Year in style by landing a commitment for the 2007 recruiting class. Today, the staff landed a commitment from one of the top line prospects in the state of Illinois. 6-7, 255-pound St. Rita (Chicago, IL) star Matt Conrath verbally committed to Al Groh and company. "Today, I called Virginia and committed to them," Conrath said. "I called Coach [Al] Groh and then I called Coach Bernstein." Conrath, who had scholarship offers from Duke, Miami (OH), Purdue, Stanford and Vanderbilt, says his decision came down to two schools. Check out the full article here! |
