Michael Parker Commits

According to sources, UVa has gained a verbal commitment from 6-2, 185-pound safety prospect Michael Parker. Parker, a standout player for Edgewater High School in Orlando, Florida, chose the 'Hoos over Wake Forest and Georgia Tech, among others.

A 3-star prospect, Parker, who projects as a safety at Virginia, helped Edgewater to a 9-1 record this season. A good athlete with good speed, he was electronically timed at 4.61 in the 40 at the Nike camp in Miami.
