Virginia keeps piling on the commitments, as 6-0, 175-pound CB Trey Womack and 5-11, 185-pound S Rico Bell are the latest commitment updates posted on the EDGE. TheSabre.com is trying to track down Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) standout Ras-I Dowling, who has also committed, according to sources.

Womack, a star for Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA), committed to head coach Al Groh yesterday. Virginia likes his competitiveness, quickness and speed at the cornerback position. He chose UVa over offers from Northwestern and Rutgers.

Bell, a standout safety for Vance (Charlotte, N.C.), is a 3-star recruit who has been timed in the 40 in sub-4.4 seconds. Bell has been selected to the NC/SC Shrine Bowl and is being recruited by UVa as a safety/cornerback prospect. He chose UVa over offers from Boston College, Clemson, N.C. State and Tennessee, among others.
